The aim of this course is to introduce the basic issues concerning modern services and applications of Information Technology and Communications. In particular, indicative issues that the theory deals with are Computer Networks, basic technologies of the Internet, social impact of Internet, safety of Computers on the Internet, Web development principles.
On completion of the course, students understand basic technical issues of Computer Networks and of the Internet, learn how to use multiple applications of Informatics, acquire basic knowledge of modern services and applications of Information Technology and Communications, as well as issues relating to general Technology.
